[Beens Prayer Partners] Prayer for the Beens

Dear Friends,

Thanks for praying. Our trip to the village went well. The kids did
great and we all slept okay. Dan came home with major muscle aches
but we are not sure if it that was from sleeping on the ground or if
it was the flu. Anyway, the trip was a success. Our goal is to
start doing this once a month to build a deeper friendship with the
people Dan teaches, learn more of their life and culture. It also
helps them to see our family in action, how we interact with each
other. They will see our mistakes, problems, blessing, strengths,
and our faith. Hopefully we will become more real to them. Thanks
for praying.

Also, we had a good day yesterday. Dan was really sick, but we had
planed a birthday party for Josiah, he turned 6 on the 17th of May.
We had invited some of his neighborhood friends and their parents to
the party. When Karunia had her birthday party the parents did not
come, but yesterday the some of the parents came. We were very
excited. We all had fun playing games and Robin made a wonderful cake!

Please do pray for Dan as he did something to his hip, last week
while running, and the muscle aches and fever yesterday really made
his hip hurt to the point where he was having trouble walking.

[Beens Prayer Partners] Trip to the bush

Dear Prayer Partners,

We as a family are taking a trip to a village. Please pray for a
safe trip for us and that none of us get sick from eating the food or
other stuff and that the we will all sleep well as we will be in tent!

[Beens Prayer Partners] prayers for travel

Dear friends,

We just wanted to ask you to please pray for traveling mercies for
Walter McCaslin and Darin Trent, two men from our sending church
who've been visiting us and our ministry here for the last 10 days.
They left Nampula today after lunch (with a rather rushed departure
since the airline had changed the flight schedule and the plane left
over an hr earlier than it used to! They arrived at the airport to
find the entire flight already boarded and ready for departure,
though Dan and the staff managed to rush them through things and get
them on the plane). They're currently flying to Johannesburg, S.
Africa where they'll overnight and then depart from there tomorrow
evening at 7pm (noon your time) for the long flight back to the States.

Please pray for rest on the plane for them, for their connection
tomorrow evening to be smooth, and simply for them as they adjust
back to the time difference and reconnect with their families,
friends and jobs there.

We so enjoyed having them here with us!!!
