[Beens Prayer Partners] July Prayer letter
Dear Friends, 5 July 05
Can I blame the tardiness of this letter on the fact that we've now completely adjusted to Mozambican time and everything here always happens or starts late? ha. Seriously, forgive my tardiness, you are very important to us and our ministry – time just got away from me.
Rejoice in the Lord for He is GOOD! His loving faithfulness endures forever! Join us in praising Him for:

Our continued adjustment and settling to our house and life here! (This is a big one!!!!!)

The beginning of ministry opportunities and the continuation of those.

Like mindedness between Dan and our teammate, Shawn Gardner. For the common goals and objectives being set as they plan and strategize for ministry together.

For great teammates and good team relations.
-
That all our boxes sent from Portugal arrived safely and are now back within our possession.
-
For safety in the traveling we've done.
-
For our faithful supporters – both prayer and financial.
-
For the desire of national ministers and people within the church to learn more of God and His word.
Pray with us for the following:

For the sale of our car in Portugal. The bank denied our friend's credit after all so now she is trying to sell it on our behalf. Pray a buyer would be found soon and this matter would be settled.

We'll be hosting 2 visitors, Daniel and Melissa Maddux, during the latter 2 weeks of July. They are coming to observe the ministry opportunities here to see if they would like to return for full-time service. During this time we (or Dan and they) will be making several day trips as well as visiting with local ministers. Pray for safety in travel, for good visits and for wisdom on their part as they try and discern the Lord's will for their ministry.

For God to raise up godly men who desire to be trained and discipled.

For Dan to have wisdom in deciding what location to choose as a 2nd “outside Nampula” discipleship point.

For other ministry opportunities and for wisdom in choosing how to handle the poverty around us.
-
For a safe and healthy pregnancy for Robin and for wisdom on our part as we try to decide whether it's feasible to remain in Mozambique for delivery or if we'll need to step out to S. Africa or Malawi.

For wisdom as parents and that we would know the best way to instruct and discipline each child.

Continued strength in our marriage.
